An exclusive wedding in Monaco:

In the beginning of March, we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Monaco and were delighted to be apart of an incredible three day wedding for a lovely Indian couple.

Friday night was the welcome drinks at Jimmyz. It was more of a relaxed vibe as everyone had just arrived from all over the world and were getting ready for an amazing weekend ahead.

Saturday day: Mehndi – this is a celebration for the ladies. It is one such event that is an indispensable part of the wedding celebrations. It generally refers to the application of henna paste in elaborate intricate designs on the bride’s hands and feet. We offered beautiful, elegant cocktails to compliment the bride and her surroundings.

Saturday night: Sangeet – this is where the party begins. The word Sangeet translates to ‘sung together’ from Sanskrit. Traditionally celebrated in the Punjab regions of India, this ceremony has been adopted by many other regions as a form of celebration for the wedding to come. The theme for the celebration was Alice in Wonderland. When guests arrived, there was a feature wall where hands would pop out with colourful glasses of Champagne. Guests were entertained by fire breathers and characters from the book, such as the Mad Hatter. We had 3 bars operating throughout the night and offered a full variety of drinks from all around the world. We had an additional team fly in just for the night as there were 450 guests. The celebration started at 19:00 and ended at 06:00. The team held high spirits and kept the guests entertained right through to the end!

Sunday: Reception Party; is celebrated just after the main wedding day. It is the first public appearance if the newlywed couple after their marriage. The reception is usually organized by the family of the groom and is a sort of a grand party. The friends and associates mainly from the groom side attend this ceremony from the bride side, only the close members are invited. There were roughly 300 people who attended, and accompanied by good music, dancers and family speeches. Everyone had a great time. Some members of our team were pulled onto the dance floor to join the crowd and celebrate! It was a night to remember.
